Small quirks are the point. A crooked leaf or a heavier handle means a person made it, not a machine.

Everything is fired, glazed and finished by hand, which means glaze tone, surface texture and dimensions vary a little from piece to piece. We treat that as the point rather than a tolerance to be engineered away — the product photograph shows the design, and the piece that arrives is its own.
